to our beloved Company.
Forum has decided to conduct
Nation wide campaign.
Even at a time when BSNL is reeling
under financial crisis, and is running into a loss of more
than Rs.8000 crore, we have been able to settle the 78.2%
IDA merger, out of which the employees are going to get
sizeable increase in their salary. It is true that we have
achieved it through our united struggles. But it is also
true that no where in the country, a company has accepted
to give such a huge benefit to it’s employees, when it is
in a financial crisis. Hence, it is the duty of each and
every one of us to see that BSNL once again stands up and
becomes a profit making company. To achieve this, each and
every one of us has to work harder so that the quality of
BSNL’s services improves and more revenue starts coming.
We have to treat our customers more respectfully, so that
more and more customers like to come towards BSNL. In
Short, definitely there is a need, to improve our
‘work-culture’. The Forum, the united organization of the
unions and associations, is there to safeguard BSNL from
govt.’s hostile policies. It will also ensure timely
supply of equipments and other materials. But more than
every thing, we, the employees have to put in our best
efforts through hard work, to improve the company’s
financial health. Yes, it is time for every one of us to
give back to the Company. The forum has decided to conduct
a nation wide campaign for this. We have to join hands and
make it a resounding success. ---------------
