]Appeal for relief fund, to the suffering people of Uttarakhand.

Dear Comrades, 

For the past few days we are viewing through TV Channels, the unprecedented devastations that have been caused by floods in Uttarakhand. More than 70,000 pilgrims got trapped in inaccessible terrains. Large portions of roads and many bridges have been washed away. The people of Uttarakhand are facing untold miseries. The airforce and the military are struggling to evacuate the affected people. However, it is impossible for the government alone to mitigate the sufferings of the people of that state. It is the duty of every citizen to extend their helping hand to the suffering people of Uttarakhand. The All India Centre meeting held today the 21.06.2013, has decided to request the BSNL Management to deduct Rs.200/- from the salary of the employees (one time deduction) and to remit the same to the relief fund of the people of Uttarakhand.
