Splendid election campaign meeting at Tirunelveli.
A splendid election campaign meeting was held at Tirunelveli on 13.04.2016. It was held in the GM office premises. Apart from the comrades of Tirunelveli, a large number of comrades attended the meeting from the districts of Tuticorin, Nagercoil and Virudhunagar. Members of SEWA BSNL were present in the meeting in good strength. Com. Swamigurunathan, district president, presided over the meeting. Com. Soosai, district secretary welcomed all the comrades. Com.C.Palanisamy, AGS, BSNLCCWF, com. P.Indira, ACS, BSNLEU, com. K. Rajendiran, DS, SEWA BSNL, com. P. Jagdeesh Selvakani, Ex ACS, SEWA BSNL, com. P. Murugan, Ex Circle Executive Member, SEWA BSNL, com. Jayamurugan, DS,BSNLEU,Tuticorin, com. George, DS, Nagercoil and com. Samuthirakani, DP, Virudhunagar were present on the dias. Com. P. Abhimanyu, GS, com. S. Chellappa, AGS and com Babu Radhakrishnan, CS addressed the meeting. The General Secretary spoke in detail about the achievements of BSNLEU with regards to the revival of BSNL and the settlement of the issues of the Non-Executives. Especially, he exposed the hollow claims of NFTE in the matter of PLI. Babu Tarapada told that workers are not beggars, but NFTE leaders tried to make the BSNL employees beggars, by accepting the 2 digit PLI, which was already rejected by BSNLEU, said the GS.
